 So Google is deleting old blogs, if not posted in for 2 years? 

Mine is no longer visible, so uploading a new post to see if it brings it back somehow. 

While my life has drastically changed since my last post here, going from single to married with children, I still love this blog, like a diary entry to a naive and simpler time in my life, and online in general. I also adore the cover art and comments by friends. Maybe I'll be fully back someday... you never know. 

Until then, just know that my hobbies haven't changed much! I still sew, knit, embroider, draw. I love alt and Japanese fashion. I love anime and comics, and still attend conventions and events as much as I can.

Denim in Larme kei + Sewing denim skirts & tote

Sooooo I apearantly had some ready-to-post-but-not-yet-published posts on this blog :o 

very old one, I was 5 months pregnant with Ophir when this was taken (almost 4 years ago!)

As Larme is much more of a day-to-day wear magazine then crazy alternative, we see in many of it's volumes regular denim items incorporated into many looks. and Japanese brands taking it a step further into the cute and girly realm. I honestly love it~ 

but I dont own many denim skirts, so when my hubby threw away some old jeans I had my chance! and created these two basic high waited skirt. 

Here is how I incorporated the light blue one in a retro vibe look: 

Top: Second Hand 

Skirt & Earrings: Hand made

Fur Shoes: Shibuya

Necklace: Closet child

But I had tons of left overs that were not enough to make a full item to wear. So I decided to make a Tote bag with a frilly heart theme ---> 

I really got a whole lot of use from this bag, and it came to Japan with me too!

Trying to blog again! some 2017 Larme purchases

It's been forever, oh my gosh...

My life have had many changes in the last year and a half. I went from being an independent indie creator and designer to a High-tech company, conglomerate hire (Lab126-Amazon) in the Fashion industry. 

From just having a boyfriend to having a husband and... a baby on the way! (will write more about it in another blog post!). from wearing cute and girly and punk fashion to total mainstream style during the week and once in a while change on the weekends. 

I also had my honeymoon in Japan for over a month! 

So to get back on the horse after all this time - I thought I would start with some of my purchases in the past few month of 2017!

This post will not include purchases from Japan during my trip. this will be another belated post ^^

So let's get to it! 

Let's start with a Tamnoon super affordable purchase:

about 6 usd for each skirt, so cheep I couldn't resist! 

Pink & black sheer mesh skirts (which I altered to fit a more sexy vibe) and a valor lace top. 

next is a small Asos Haul! ^^/

Frilly elegant long pencil skirt in dusty pink. 

Simple Salopette in gray 

Heart drop pearl and puff earring I bought from Noy (Panda shop). these have turned out to be one of my most weared item these past few months~


Heart, pearl and white puff earrings from Ebay. The style is everywhere on Ebay and Aliexpress, i'm so happy to have so many options this year.

Magazines & Books: 
I got a present from Regina - the Risa doll mook <3

More Larme Volumes! Gil started a magazine purchase group on Facebook and it got so much easier and cheaper to order these. I am super happy to see my collection grow. 

This was the gift attached: a sweet My Melody pouch.

5 Coords: Larme, Fairy Kei and more~

Another week has gone by and another Update~! 

I have been loving Larme kei more and more the past months and I got this super red pretty coat as a gift from my big sister. I had to incorporate it and I think it went quite well. What do you think? 

What I wore:

Lace Top: Zara

Shoes: Lady comfort (Israeli shop)

I also made the earrings I'm wearing. I made another pair as a gift for Shira.
I paired this with the Vivienne Westwood replica choker. 

More Larme style eccessories I got 2 months ago but just got in the mail are these: 

First is the pearl and big cherry necklace and matching earrings. these were highly popular 1-2 years ago, especially with Swankiss staff and Larme fashion lovers. these were sold at the Swankiss shop but i'm not sure if this was their design or just suited their clothes and style. There are tons of these style around many online shops. I got this set on AliExpress for 7 USD, but I also saw it on Ebay and Polyvore for even less. 

The necklace is great but the earrings are a bit heavy on my ears. So I could only wear them for 3 hours before taking them off :( 

Second, another Cherry earrings! but very small and subtle compared to the first. 

almost not noticeable but super comfortable. From Ebay at only 2 USD, what a bargain! 

Second coord: I made the sweater myself! I almost never work with knitted fabric so it was a big change, but I think I handled it ok. Its designed after OneSpo tops and one pieces and other knits that came out this winter from Japanese brands.

 I was very happy with how it turned out, it's very warm and comfortable!

Third Coord: I found this cute puffy sleeves knit at Alenbi st in Tel Aviv and could not resist, it was only 7 USD. I matched it with a bodycon dress in beige I had.

Forth coord: During Purim Oded and I went to visit some friends. I took the opportunity to wear all pink and my peignoir which I wear so rarely. I tried to go for a more Fairy Kei kind of look.

Purim, Lolita lecture and Harucon Con!

What is this "Purim" Holiday you ask? Its basicly the jewish Halloween, but instead of the dead rising its more about old jewish perseverance and getting drunk! and part of the celebration is taking on another persona, aka a Costume. So this Purim was great, I had a booth in a big Anime Convention, went to parties, friends and a Zombie walk~

First, the Zombie walk. Its a yearly event that is exactly what it sounds like, lots of Zombies walking up and down Tel Aviv. I went with guy and we did our make up together. It was my first time dealing with liquid latex and it was loads of fun!

Harucon

 Harucon is the biggest Anime, Manga and Japan convention in Israel. Its still small compared to other conventions like in the USA or Europe, but its still lots of fun. 

Other than my boot, Regina and I gave a lecture about Lolita fashion ♥

We prepared for a whole month for it, and Its been a while since I gave a lecture to such a big audience so it was very exciting!

Regina did a great job and I was so lucky to work with her~ 

After it was over people asked questions, we showed a few Deerstalkers videos (who kindly gave us their permission) and talked to people who told us they had a good time :)
