International Lolita Ebook and GLB magazine

I'm really excited to write this post~ two days ago I found out by pure luck, that I was picked and printed among many other beautiful Lolitas in a 1.5 page in the japanese Gothic & Lolita Bible magazine!

A bit of explanation First~

Last spring I made a photoshoot with Yaniv Gadi. We got some good photos, and although I later did not like my coord so much, it was fun and enjoyful with Yaniv and Mayumi that also had her photos taken ^^
What I wore:
Bonnet: Hand made
Blouse: Vintage
JSK: Lady Sloth (Indie Brand)
Shoes: Bodyline Rocking Horse

Few months later a leader of the Tea Time organisation, Ai Akizuki, contacted Noga from our Israeli Lolita community, telling us about a project she was making, an international Ebook that will include photos of Lolita from around the world. It sounded great fun, and several of us sent our photos.
Few weeks later the Ebook was published, and this is how I was presented in it, along with others :)

About a  month later Ai Akizuki hosted a party to celebrate the Ebook publish:

After that, she was contacted with the Japanese GLB magazine to make an article about it.

A little about GLB:
The Japanese Gothic & Lolita Bible is a magazine that was born 15 years ago from another very popular Fashion magazine called Kera. GLB cemented the ideas and esthetics of Lolita fashion, and showed the face of the fashion to all in a marvelous quality colored Mook (Magazine-book).
It presented the brands, the Idols and more, showing how the fashion looks on the streets as well, and well earned it's title of actual "Bible" to Lolitas around the world.

I didn't know about the collaboration of Ai's book with GLB magazine, so when I saw on facebook that someone posted a scan from Vol 59, showing my picture among others with an Israeli flag, I was ecstatic!
GLB chose a few girls from the entire Ebook to present in a full page, along with an article about a Tea party hosted in Mexico.

My picture is pretty small, but this still makes me soooo sooo happy!
the thought that many japanese fashion lovers will see my (tiny) face is amazing.
they gave me a title theme of "The Keeper of Time" X3 I love it~

And that's it! I am now hoping one of my friends who are living/visiting Japan will get me that copy of the magazine, Vol 59, to join my small collection of GLB.

I'm feeling very lucky and blessed ^^ even though its not that big of a thing~
Thanks for reading, Lots of Luv ♥

New sewing projects and Makeup haul

I've been buying too much stuff on ebay and waiting for forever to receive it, since Israeli post office is so so slow. but its finally here and i'm super pleased with it all! ^^
First is the Dolly Wink Eyelash Fix!
I have been dying to buy a decent japanese eyelash glue in a brush container instead of a tube.
I decided to get this cuz it got great reviews online, as strong and easy to use. After using it for 3 times I think it is pretty good, but not as strong and sticky like my prior one. I do however love using the brush, and it dries super fast! which I was super surprised by.
So 4/5 stars to the Dolly wink Eyelash glue~

second are two types of brown lashes, for a more simple Larme kei look. one is half lashes, the other full. I tried both and I am in love!! they look very natural, even my boyfriend didn't notice I have them on. Which isnt bad, since they are still very long compared to my real short lashes.

Third are two black long lashes.  I think the right pair will probably be Cosplay only, but I tried the left package and they are cute ^^

Forth is the newly out Etude house Eybrow Tint!
I got the darkest shade, but it still feels a bit too red brown then black brown.
It still matches me, and I used it twice so far. It lasts almost a week, and is overall a great product.

And Lastly, another Edude House Dear My Blooming Lips lipstick!
I loved the pink 014, that was dark and matte, so I got the darkest shape of orange, looking for a change in my mainly red, pink and purple lipsticks.
It is indeed very bright orange and matches me very well. however, it is way more moist and not matte at all. So it's pretty different than the pink I already have and I wasn't as pleased with it as I thought I would be.
Still lovely though~!

On to SEWING projects!
These are two items I sewed recently :)
First is a Larme Kei inspired Pencil-Midi skirt, with checkered fabric in brown and beige, scalloped edges and back bow.
Wearing the brown long lashes, can you tell?

Next is a checkered green black 50's style dress.
It was originally gonna be a shorter dress, but I was thinking of making it into a Lolita-esque OP.
I was planning to add black lace to the bottom and thin lace to the edge of the collar area, but I decided to wear it despite not buying matching lace yet. But I honestly kind of like it like this.
What do you think?

Later that day I did my nails to match the dress, and paired it with cherry-strawberry bracelet and earrings~
I really love how the belt came out, I usually don't make belts for my dresses.

Hope you liked reading!~
Next post will be more Larme Kei stuff, nails and more ^^
Lots of Luv ♥

Meeting Noy! Late post ~_~

Long overdue post!! I've been lazy again, super sorry :(
Sooooo....
Three weeks  ago I got to meet Noy~
Noy is a very gifted crafter and designer who has her own booth and business like me. I meet her a lot at conventions and events and found we have lots in common. She makes beautiful jewelry in Fimo and other material for all kinds of fashion styles ^^ Her shop is called Kawaii Panda Shop, so be sure to check it out! She is also a gorgeous Gyaru and over all japanese fashion lover.
We met at her house and I cannot say enough about how cute, sweet and detailed her room is. filled with cute plushies, art and too many super pretty Gyaru clothes and shoes! I should have just stolen everything and run away X3

We mostly hang around, petted her super plush bunny, read Ageha magazines and later we started sewing. We tried to make a duplicate of a skirt she already owned, and I hope we get to finish it next time we meet. I also got to see her lil' sis too, she was super cute and nice to me too ^^

The weather that day was absolutely terrible and rainy that dau, so I opted to wear a more punkish style with my high boots, than anything sweet and charming that would get me wet and drenched.
I took a photo when I got back, and by then my hair was an absolute mess!

 And my nails~

A few days after that I went Salsa dancing with Oded, my hair looked terrible with all the colored drained out of it :( so I gathered it into a bun to hide it.
I wore a second hand Vintage 90's dress. I got it from a friend and its so comfy and fun ^^

Later that week I got my order of hair colors from Beeunique. No more yucky hair for me~
That's it for this post,
Lots of Luv ♥
