Yep, you read it right, I have not, until now, in all my Lolita year's ordered by myself from Japan.
I am a scardy cat when it comes to online shopping in a language I do not understand. but with help from friends and an awesome dress to seduce me, it finally happened.
The seller was selling the dress with two other Items which seemed really bad in the pictures and not lolita suitable, but when I got the package I was soooo surprised!
I got two extra items, the two "weird" ones were actually really nice and the dress was practically new, and was ironed and cleaned before it was sent. I also got a nice note with it on a super elegant paper and I just felt that I did not pay enough for this.
The Items:
First I got a really nice and soft tramp card IW scarf. It looks used but still has a lot of life in it.
second is this old school IW half bonnet in brown and white. I didn't like it at first, but when I put it on... I started liking it! haha~
Next is the extra gift items! this gorgeous brown Alice in wonderland IW beret! *3*
and a collar/bib thing in black, also from IW. and in perfect new condition.
And... *drumrolls* the dress!
I have been wanting this dress since the day I got into Lolita, and barely seen it on any girls, not to mention selling it. So getting this is such a dream come true~
On me (without petticoat):
It does fit me, but its a bit too tight in the bust area. I have known this prior to ordering, and saw that few girls online altered it very nicely. I plan to do that, with the matching fabric from the lining.
I know it might lower its value, but I honestly don't think I'll ever sell it.
Gaia and the gals in our lolia community laughed at how I don't order online second hand, but when I do, I get a freaking Lucky pack XD hahaha beginners luck I guess!
